NOT YOUR DADDY'S RECORD OF THE MONTH CLUB

ROTMC

Now that we are no longer in the midst of a "vinyl comeback" and have moved on to a point in time where most artists are religiously releasing music directly to vinyl. People are beginning to crave something rare and more personalized to fill the void within their vinyl buying habits. Almost like superman flying out of the sky to save the day, a few people have stepped forward to bring the everyday vinyl collector something that can keep their interest and satisfy that need inside while also adding an element of surprise. If you like the idea of receiving a personalize surprise once a month. A record of the month club might be for you, so what record of the month club do you join?

CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT Vinyl Me, Please

If you are looking for something random and would also like to get a few extras with your vinyl you may want to check out Vinyl Me, Please this is the top subscription site out at this time. They offer you, for around $27 a month, a delivery to your door of the record of the month accompanied with a limited art print and a paired mix drink recipe that should go over well with those who like to get a little buzz on and not be the only thing in the room spinnin'. Better known as the vinyl Netflix, Vnyl was started as a Kiskstarter project and since than has grown into one of the leading clubs available to collectors. As a member of this record of the month club you will choose from a list of "vibes" that will determine the stack of vinyl you will receive. The club member can then take their time to listen and enjoy to the wax stax at his or her leisure and choose to either return them for more or purchase those they vibe with at discount member prices. We see this as a real nice way to get the listener exposed to music that they may never have come into contact with on they're daily digs and a real nice way to strategically build a well rounded collection at a small price minus the leg and finger work of ones typical crate crawl.

We really love this record of the month club it is at the top of our list of clubs to join, not only do they have real nice colored vinyl releases but the music that gets pressed on these records of the month has so far blown us away. You will not be getting the same old, same old with this club they are determined to give their members something original and memorable with each release and if you browse the site you can listen in on Feedbands stream and get a taste of what they have offered up thus far. So, if you are anything like us you will be left thirsting for more. I love the overall idea behind this site and what it is trying to accomplish by searching and scouting for unknown diamond in the rough type bands that have amazing music, picking them up, dusting them off and dropping there music between the proverbial grooves and spoon feeding it to hungry wax worms like you and I. Highly recommended for those who are looking for something underground and undiscovered.

CLICK TO CHECK OUT Prescribed Vinyl

Another record of the month club worth mentioning is Prescribed Vinyl. This club is a music medication regiment that is sure to pump any vinyl junkies veins with a much needed remedy. Go to the site and fill out your prescription, if one record is not enough they have the elixir to quench your thirst for more. This record of the month club relies a great deal on the patient to fill out a form before joining so the doctor knows just what to remedy to cure what ailes you. This site is well worth looking into.

Some of my favorite records are the hard to find lost gems of yesteryear. This is one of those elusive psych masterpieces. Some compare this to a cross between The Grateful Dead and Buffalo Springfield.

I was a bit surprised when I researched this record to find that it is pretty easy to get a hold of an original in VG+ shape on second hand sites such as Discogs and Ebay.

(CHECK OUT FOR YOURSELF HERE)

This is the only release to date from Blue Mountain Eagle and I don't see them coming back together anytime soon for a reunion so now is a great time to pick this classic up on the cheap before the word goes out on RSD that this is a "rare" record once that happens GOOD LUCK.
